Do you need to be good at art?

Absolutely not! These projects are designed for everyone — including people who "can't draw." Deb's video guidance makes it easy. There's no right or wrong way.

What if my parent has shaky hands or limited mobility?

The projects are designed with this in mind. Larger brushes, simple techniques, and forgiving materials. Plus, you're there to help if needed!

Is this only for people with dementia?

No! These boxes are perfect for ALL seniors. While they're especially beneficial for those experiencing memory challenges, they're designed for anyone who wants meaningful creative time.

Can this really help with dementia or Alzheimer's?

Yes. Creative engagement is proven to support cognitive function, reduce anxiety, and improve quality of life for people with dementia. Our boxes include conversation prompts, multi-sensory elements, and memory preservation specifically designed with these benefits in mind.

How long does each project take?

30-60 minutes typically. But you can go at your own pace. Some people spread one project over multiple days.

What if I don't live near my parent?

You can still do it together! Set up a video call and create "together" from different locations. Or gift them a box and ask them to show you what they create.

Can kids/grandkids do this too?

Absolutely! Many families involve grandchildren. It becomes a beautiful three-generation activity.

Does this work if my parent lives with me vs. lives alone?

Yes! The boxes work beautifully in both situations. If they live with you, you can do projects together anytime. If they live alone, bring the box when you visit.

What if I can't visit often?

The boxes give your parent something meaningful to do on their own, PLUS something to share with you when you do visit (in person or video call).

How often should we do the activities?

Totally flexible! Some families do one project per week. Some do them all in one day during a visit. There's no "right" way.

Can my parent work on this alone between visits?

Absolutely! Deb's video guidance means they can work independently. Then when you visit, you can admire their work and start the next project together.

Can I buy individual supplies without a full Gift Box?

Absolutely! Our Art Supplies store lets you purchase paints, brushes, stencils, and more individually. Perfect for restocking after your first Gift Box, or if you already have some supplies at home.

I already have brushes. Can I just buy paint and stencils?

Yes! Head to our Art Supplies page and pick exactly what you need. Each item is available separately, matched to our four themes.

What's the difference between a Gift Box and buying supplies individually?

A Gift Box is the complete, curated experience — everything you need plus video guidance, conversation prompts, and a memory book. Individual Art Supplies are perfect for top-ups and replacements once you've started your creative journey.

Can I use NDIS funding to buy individual Art Supplies?

Yes, for Art Supplies orders totalling $50 or more. At checkout, you'll see the option to "Bill My Plan Manager" when your cart qualifies. Gift Boxes are always NDIS-eligible regardless of quantity.

Do you offer bundle discounts?

Yes! Buy 3 or more Gift Boxes and save: 10% off 3 boxes, 15% off 6, or 20% off 12. Mix and match any themes you like.
